Media - requirement
- TA40 19" Filter - 70kg Sand 15kg Gravel 3-5mm
- TA60 24" filter - 150kg Sand - 17kg Gravel 3-5mm
- TA100 30" Filter - 235kg Sand - 50kg Gravel 3-5mm
When using glass media supplied you can reduce grade 1 (equivalent to sand) by 15%
Flow rates based at 10m Head:
- 19” – 8.5m3/hr - 1.5” female threads.
- 24” - 14m3/hr - 1.5” female threads.
- 30” - 22m3/hr - 2” female threads.
As a rough guide:
- A 19” – Tagelus (TA40) filter will do a domestic pool up to 51m3
- A 19” – Tagelus (TA40) filter will do a domestic pool up to 84m3
- A 30” – Tagelus (TA100) filter will do a domestic pool up to 132m3
NB: These calculations should be treated as a guide - your pool engineer should calculate based on your specific pool requirements.
