LED Underwater Swimming Pool Lights
Replacing your old style 300w 12v Light really is easy and such a good idea as you'll have so many benefits - no more changing those old bulbs for a start! I'm sure every one understands why LED lighting is more efficient that traditional 300w 12v bulbs, for those who need a reminder: Installing LED lights or upgrading existing lights to LED not only saves money but also helps to reduce your carbon footprint as each light will reduce energy consumption by at least 80% compared to traditional lights. Add to this the minimum life expectancy of 100,000 hours and you'll agree, there really is no better solution for underwater lighting.
So what do you need?
You'll notice we predominately sell the Certikin Underwater Lights as these are the most commonly installed pool lights in domestic pools in the UK, however we can cater for most manufactures so if you can't find what you're looking for just let us know and we'll do our best!
It's pretty simple for new installations as you can buy the complete unit. Retro-fitting an LED light isn't too difficult we just need to make sure what you have in the wall is the correct fitting to adapt for the new light. If you have an old Certikin light, more than likely you'll have the old PU9 design which means you'll need PU9 components/spares. The PU6 is a newer model fitting which is more compact and advised for new builds. They look quite different so they're easy to distinguish, but send us a photo if you're unsure.
