Product Overview

Applications

1. Clean and prepare the pipe or fitting surface using an appropriate cleaner (e.g., Griffon Pipe Cleaner) to remove grease, dirt, or uncured adhesive residue.
2. Cut pipes square and bevel the edges at 15° for easier assembly and a secure fit.
3. Stir the N-40 solvent cement thoroughly before use to ensure consistency.
4. Apply an even coat of cement to both surfaces, focusing extra cement on the pipe end for gap-filling assurance.
5. Push the pieces together immediately—do not twist—and hold for a few seconds.
6. Wipe away excess cement and avoid movement for at least 5 minutes. Allow 24 hours before conducting a pressure test.
