How to Use Bayrol Decalcit Filtre

Always follow the instructions on the product packaging. For thorough filter descaling, use once or twice a year, typically at the beginning and end of the swimming pool season.

 

Sand Filters:

1. Switch off the filtration system and carry out a thorough backwash.
2. Close the relevant valves and carefully open the filter tank.
3. Dissolve 1kg of Decalcit Filtre in 10 litres of water to create a 10% solution.
4. Pour the prepared solution in the open filter container.
5. Leave to work overnight, for at least 12 hours.
6. Close the filter tank and carry out a thorough backwash for at least 3–5 minutes, followed by rinsing.

 

Cartridge and Diatomaceous Filters:

1. Switch off the filtration system and carefully remove the cartridge.
2. Dissolve 1kg of Decalcit Filtre in 10 litres of water in a suitable container.
3. Fully immerse the filter cartridge or elements in the prepared solution.
4. Leave to soak overnight.
