20g Chlorine Tablets

20g Trichloroisocyanuric Acid tablets also known as Stabilised Chlorine Tablets, are one of the most popular chemicals for sanitising and making sure your pool is safe and clean. 20g Stabilised Chlorine Tablets are used for spa's, small above ground pools and chlorine feeders. They are best used in a small floating dispenser where you can simply adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom.

Ideal free chlorine range: Pool - 1 - 3mg/l (ppm) or Spa - 3 - 5mg/l (ppm)

Prior to using this product, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6 to promote bather comfort, plant protection and effective chemical use.

These smaller chlorine tablets are designed for use with chlorine feeders or with floating dispensers. They will slowly erode over a period of 3 - 5 days, depending on the water flowing over them. As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. 

Application Instructions

WARNING – DO NOT ADD DIRECTLY TO A POOL AND ALWAYS USE A CLEAN APPLICATOR AS BELOW WITH NO OTHER PRODUCTS PRESENT.

Floating Dispenser: Fill the Trichlor floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1–3 mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1–3 mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool while swimmers are bathing.

Chlorine Feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 1–3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels.

Note: It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly/fortnightly) shock or oxidise your water. 

Always wear PPE when using Pool Chemicals and thoroughly wash your hands afterwards.

Never mix Pool Chemicals
