Bayrol Chloryte® Shock Chlorine Granules
Bayrol Chloryte® is a powerful, fast-dissolving shock chlorine designed to quickly restore swimming pool water. Made from calcium hypochlorite, it rapidly destroys bacteria, organic contaminants and algae, making it ideal for treating green or cloudy water as well as routine pool sanitisation.
Unlike stabilised chlorine products, Chloryte® contains no chlorine stabiliser. This means you can maintain effective chlorine levels without increasing cyanuric acid, making it an excellent choice for pools with soft water or those already containing high stabiliser levels.
The low-dust granules dissolve quickly for fast results and can be applied directly to the pool or used with compatible dosing equipment for continuous treatment. Each pack includes practical measuring solutions, making it easier and safer to apply the correct amount every time.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I use Chloryte®?
Use it when your pool water becomes cloudy or green, after periods of heavy use, or as part of your regular pool maintenance routine.
What makes unstabilised chlorine different?
It contains no cyanuric acid, so it won't increase stabiliser levels in your pool. This makes it ideal if your existing stabiliser level is already high.
Can I use Chloryte® for weekly maintenance?
Yes. It can be used for both regular disinfection and shock treatments.
Is it suitable for soft water?
Yes. Chloryte® is particularly well suited to pools in soft water areas.
Can I add it directly into the skimmer?
No. Always add the granules directly to the pool water, or pre-dissolve them first if recommended.
