Solar covers are designed to retain more heat, which means they're now thick and heaver than ever before. If you're struggling to pull yout cover back onto the pool, even with two people, you'll know how difficult it can be.
Our DIY Towing Kit / Leading Edge kit is a simple, effective solution that makes handling your cover much easier, even on your own.
What is does
The kit creates a strong leading edge on your solar cover, allowing you to pull it back onto the pool smoothly and evenly. It reduces strain, prevents bunching, and helps protect your cover from unesecary wear or tearing.
How it works
The system includes a foam tube and reinforced webbing that attaches to the end of your solar cover, along with a pull cord and straps.
Once fitted, the kit spreads the pulling force evenly across the width of the cover, so it glides back into place with far less effort.
Easy DIY Installation
The DIY Towing Kit / Leading Edge kit is designed for simple installation at home.
You just:
- Pierce small holes into the cover
- Attach the foam and webbing using the supplied press fix conncectors
- Fix the pull cord in place
No specialist tools are required.
If you'd prefer not to install it yourself, we also offer a factory-fitted leading edge option when purchasing a new solar cover.
