Swimming Pool Bromine Tablets
Bromine tablets offer a wonderfully simple, convenient way to sanitise your pool or spa, ensuring it remains in great condition and provides a clean, safe swimming experience. Swimming pool bromine tablets are easy to use – simply add them to a floating chemical dispenser and let them do their thing. Make sure you thoroughly clean the dispenser before use to avoid accidentally mixing chemicals.
The aperture on the chemical dispenser can be set to release bromine into your pool over a set period. Bromine tablets are slow-dissolving and don’t have a major impact on your pool’s pH, so once you’ve worked out the correct dosage for your pool and the water’s condition, you won’t have to do too much manual intervention.
Ideal Bromine Levels
FThe ideal bromine levels for your pool range between 2 to 4 ppm, so keep an eye on your pool chemistry and adjust your bromine tablet dosage as needed. You should regularly test your water with test strips or other testing kits.
For spas, bromine levels should range between:
- 3 & 5 ppm
Pool bromine tablets should be stored in cool, dry, well-ventilated spaces. Never mix the bromine tablets with other chemicals, as dangerous reactions can occur. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
