Maintaining the correct pH level is one of the most important parts of pool care. If the pH rises above 7.4, chlorine becomes far less effective, limescale is more likely to form and swimmers may experience irritated eyes and skin.
Bayrol pH-Minus Granules provide a quick and accurate way to lower pH levels back into the ideal range of 7.0–7.4. Manufactured using high-purity sodium hydrogen sulphate, the granules dissolve rapidly without clouding the water, allowing your sanitiser to work more efficiently and helping protect your pool equipment from scale build-up.

Why is pH Important?
When pH is too high, chlorine becomes much less effective, meaning you'll often need to use more chemicals to maintain clean, safe water. High pH can also lead to cloudy water, calcium deposits and irritation to swimmers' eyes and skin. Keeping your pool between pH 7.0 and 7.4 allows sanitisers to perform at their best while protecting your pool and equipment.

How to Use
- Test your pool's pH using test strips or a digital tester.
- Only dose if the pH is above 7.4.
- With the filtration system running, sprinkle the required amount into several areas of the pool.
- Allow the product to dissolve completely before retesting the water.
- Repeat if necessary until the pH reaches between 7.0 and 7.4.
Never add more than 300g per 10m³ in a single treatment.

Important Information
- Always add the product to the water, never water to the product.
- Never mix concentrated pool chemicals together.
- Run the filtration system daily for at least half the current water temperature.
- Apply in the evening after swimming where possible.
- If the granules become compacted during storage, simply shake the container before use.
