Bayrol Calcinex 1L
Hard water and metal-rich water can cause stubborn limescale deposits, staining and discolouration throughout your pool. Bayrol Calcinex is a preventative treatment that helps stop these problems before they occur, protecting both your pool and its equipment.
The concentrated formula binds calcium and dissolved metals in the water, reducing the risk of scale forming on liners, pool walls, pipework and heating equipment. It also helps prevent staining caused by metals such as iron and manganese, making it especially useful for pools filled with well water or hard water.
Calcinex is compatible with chlorine, bromine and active oxygen systems and remains stable during normal pool treatment. It won't affect your pool's pH balance and can even help reduce corrosion in soft water conditions.

Why Use Calcinex?
As pool water warms up, calcium naturally comes out of solution and forms hard limescale deposits on pool surfaces and equipment. Water containing metals such as iron or manganese can also leave unsightly brown, green or black stains. Calcinex helps keep these minerals dissolved, reducing scale formation and preventing metal deposits before they become a problem.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Calcinex do?
Calcinex helps prevent calcium deposits, metal staining and water discolouration by keeping minerals dissolved so they can pass safely through the filtration system.
Will it remove existing stains?
No. Calcinex is a preventative treatment. Existing metal stains or limescale deposits will require a dedicated stain or scale remover.
Is it suitable for hard water?
Yes. Calcinex is particularly effective in hard water and well water, where calcium and dissolved metals are more likely to cause problems.
Can I use it with saltwater pools?
Yes. Calcinex is compatible with chlorine, bromine, salt chlorination systems and active oxygen treatments.
When should I add Calcinex?
For best results, add it immediately after filling your pool with fresh water and repeat the treatment after significant water top-ups or filter backwashing.
