How Do AquaSPArkle Bromine Pods Work?

The AquaSPArkle Bromine Pod is an easy way to maintain your hot tub water, providing a regular, reliable source of active bromine. Instead of manually measuring and adding bromine, the pod communicates with your in-line dosing system for ongoing sanitisation.

Variable output settings allow you to adjust the amount of bromine being delivered to suit your needs. This makes the Bromine Pod an easy choice for regular hot tub water care to help keep the water clearer and safer.

How Do AquaSPArkle Bromine Pods Work?

The AquaSPArkle Bromine Pod is added into your hot tub’s existing inline dosing system. As the water circulates, the pod gradually releases active bromine into the water. The adjustable output allows you to control the amount of bromine being released, helping provide consistent sanitisation without having to manually measure and add bromine as often.

The active bromine helps kill bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms for easier cleaning and safer, clearer hot tub water.

Application Instructions

1. For new hot tubs or hot tubs that have been left for a period of time, ensure
the correct commissioning process is followed prior to use and before addition
of the Bromine Pod.
2. When re-filling a hot tub at water change, a starter does of sanitiser is
recommended.
3. Adjust the Bromine Pod exposure holes to required level (see guide)
4. How to use the Bromine Pod:
- For current in-line dosing systems, use the ‘Spa Pod Clip’ to secure the
pod to existing sanitiser frame or:
- Clip Pod to a compatible filter cartridge lid using bayonet fitting or:
- Place the Pod directly in the middle of a filter cartridge with an internal
stopper fitted.
5. Check bromine levels regularly in line with latest recommendations.
6. Maintain correct pH levels between 7.2 – 7.6.

It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly or after heavy spa use) shock
dose your spa with AquaSPArkle Spa Fusion to eliminate any excess contamination.
