This simple 15 minute Bacteria test, from our Quick brand, allows for very quick and accurate testing of Coliform and non-Coliform Bacteria in water.

This is a simple dip and read test strip that detects E.coli, species of Salmonella, Shigella, Enterobacter, Klebsiella and many other coliform and non-coliform bacteria. The Quick Bacteria Test can provide reliable on site results in a RAPID 15 minutes, which can be used for any environment including pools, spas, lakes, rivers and streams. This is a simple Presence/Absence (Yes/No) test. Positive result will be returned if total bacteria count is over 1000 colonies (10^3) per sample (1 ml). Bacterial contamination should be of great concern for pool and spa owners, operators, or anyone who tests their water quality.

Contamination can occur without warning and the safety of customers, families, and friends come first.

Suitable for: fresh water samples, including pools & spas, lakes, rivers, streams, wells, springs, boreholes, ponds as well as rain water; also suitable for class room demonstrations

Detects: Coliform and Non-Coliform Bacteria at 10 cfu/ml

(cfu = colony forming units; cfu/mL = colony-forming units per milliliter)

Result displayed as: present (positive)/absent (negative)
